Race Carlisle to Gretna on the 1st & 2nd of August

This event is a version of the very popular X Border 10k from Carlisle to Gretna. In order to comply with government guidelines on Covid-19 this event will see no more than 6 runners set off at any one time in 10 minute waves from 6am to 8pm on both Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd of August 2020. The event will have an inflatable arch for the start and finish and chip timing. All runners will also receive a medal at the finish line. Within the questions on your entry form you will be asked to fill out your preferred run wave and the event organisers will allocate you a time as close as possible to your preferred time. Please also put in your estimated finish time so we can group you near people who run the same speed as you in order to restrict the over taking on the course to a minimum. Runners will need to be picked up at the finish line from someone in their allocated bubble and must leave after the event. Runners will not be allowed to congregate at Gretna after the event.

Organisers terms and conditions (*) I understand and agree that I am taking part in this 6 person per wave race at entirely my own risk and that no liability whatsoever shall attach to the event organiser, or any person involved in the event organisation, for any injury, accidents, fatality, illness, loss or damage suffered by me in, or by reason of the event, however such may be caused. I understand that it is my own sole responsibility to obey the Highway Code at all times during the course of the event. I understand fully that taking part in events on the public highway is not without risk and my safety is my responsibility. I also understand and agree to keep to government guidelines for the Covid-19 pandemic and specifically those relating to social distancing. The event will have public liability insurance from Event Insure UK and is not a UKA licensed event. There will be no refunds but the event will be transferred to the earliest possible event if government guidelines change and we are unable to stage the event on the above dates.

Question - Ideally, what time would you prefer to run based on waves of 6 setting off at 10 minute intervals from 6am - 8pm. We will try to get as close to your ideal time as possible.
